The total number of Ph. D. or higher Degree holders in the relevant areas in the department of Computer science and information technology is more than 20, and the total number of Ph. D. or higher Degree holders in the relevant areas (Pursuing) in the department is 8. The research publication by the faculty in the reputed conferences and journal are more than 300. Faculties in the department could attract many research grant from sponsoring agencies such as DST, AICTCE, etc. Department of Information technology has rich experience of organizing national and international conferences and workshops; it has organized more than 18 national workshops, 7 national conferences, and 2 international conferences.
